I preordered this book after following the author on Instagram, and got it the same day it released. I tried to make the German chocolate bread this morning and it was incredible. first time I have followed a recipe without making mistakes in a while. super easy to follow and I pretty much already had everything at home besides the vegan yogurt.

Most of my recipes use basic ingredients like vegan milk, sugar, flour, and oil or vegan butter. I love to stick to classic baking methods, while swapping out dairy and animal products for plant-based alternatives.
In my day-to-day life, I focus on practical and approachable habits, and this naturally extends to my cooking and baking. My goal is to simplify baking by using budget-friendly and accessible vegan ingredients without sacrificing flavor or quality. Baking on a budget doesn’t mean you have to “go cheap” or give up things you love. Instead, it’s about getting what you love at a better price and making the most of your resources. For example, I buy blueberries in bulk, eat them fresh, and freeze the rest for future baking. Through this approach, I hope to show my readers how enjoyable and easy vegan baking can be right from their own kitchen.
